David "Davy" Crockett remains one of the best-known American folk heroes. Although commonly referred to in popular culture as "King of the Wild...The Western Maryland Music Festival is an All-Day Fundraiser supporting the 5 Masonic Lodges near Allegany County Maryland.
Proceeds from the event are used by the Lodges to support various Lodge activities including sponsored scholarships and various charitable donations throughout the year.
