Teamwork in our Masonic Family will make a difference!

"The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor." Vince Lombardi

My Brethren,

A new year is upon us, and it is an especially exciting time for our fraternity; Lodges have new officers, and new Worshipful Masters are taking the helm of leadership in their Lodge with great anticipation, and a plan to improve their Lodge throughout the coming year.

Pat and I had a great time visiting the many installation of officers we were so fortunate to be invited to - and I eagerly look forward to the fellowship I will enjoy while visiting your Lodges this year.

In December, the Grand Line and I raised six new Master Masons. What a great way to begin my second term - I truly enjoy the Lodges we visit, everyone seems to have a great time. Now brethren, please find something for them to do, provide them the mentoring they deserve, and assist them in learning about our wonderful fraternity.

I have have received a lot of positive comments on the new format of our Regional Meetings. I have done away with the breakout sessions, and added more informative sessions in their place. I urge you to attend at least one of them, and look forward to greeting you.

One of my priorities for this year is Lodge involvement in the Masonic CHIP program. This is a very important effort to the Lodge and to the community in which the Lodge lives. There will be detailed explanation at the Regional Meetings, and I am sure you will find them interesting.

Pat and I wish for each of you our Creator's richest blessings for the upcoming year. We so appreciate the hospitality and friendship you have shown us as we traveled the past three years during my term as Deputy Grand Master, and Grand Master. We look forward to being with you many times over the upcoming years.

In closing, please keep our service men and women in your prayers, as well as those police officers and fire fighters that provide us protection 24/7 within our communities - they, like our armed forces, put their lives on the line every day that you and I may enjoy the life we have. And as you know we have many of these special people within the ranks of our fraternity.

With warm fraternal regards,

John R. Biggs, Jr.
